Dermatopathology Essentials for PAs and NPs

This practical, case-based dermatopathology course is designed to help clinicians improve biopsy techniques, avoid diagnostic pitfalls, and confidently interpret pathology reports. Across six modules, participants will build foundational knowledge in skin histology and pathology processing, then dive into common clinical scenarios including melanocytic lesions and alopecia. The course emphasizes real-world application, with clinical pearls, specimen tips, and pathology insights rarely found in textbooks or traditional CME. Participants will learn how to choose biopsy sites, avoid specimen errors, and decode the language of dermatopathology reports—bridging the gap between clinical dermatology and the microscope.
