Building Leadership Opportunities at Your Institution

This session aims to address the answers to four primary questions you should ask when thinking about building leadership opportunities at your institution. Why build them? How are they defined? What is the building process? And how can you set yourself up to successfully get one of the positions? The presentation touches on leadership and promotional pathways, a detailed process for assessing the current state of PA leadership at your institution, initial steps of building a new leadership position or program, and PA-specific opportunities to gain leadership and management skills and competencies.
