Clinical Advances in Atopic Dermatitis and Alopecia Areata
In this highly interactive, self-directed activity, expert faculty review the latest in Atopic Dermatitis (AD) and Alopecia Areata (AA), with the goal of improving patient-centered care through a greater understanding of immunological pathways, treatment
considerations, impact of these conditions on patients’ quality of life, the latest data on emerging treatments, and how to apply this information into practice.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review the pathophysiologic underpinnings of AD and AA
- Describe the risk factors and common comorbidities associated with AD and AA
- Explain burden of disease of AD and AA from a holistic standpoint, incorporating clinical and psychosocial elements
- Summarize clinical profiles of novel and emerging therapies, including MOAs, efficacy, and safety
