OTI: Optimize the Diabetes Patient Journey: A Case-Based Self-Assessment Program

This Self-Assessment Program will test your ability to identify barriers contributing to therapeutic inertia and approaches and tools that reduce therapeutic inertia in clinical scenarios. This program will draw on information, research, and strategies covered in the Overcoming Therapeutic Inertia CE Certificate Program.


Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Detect barriers contributing to therapeutic inertia in patient
  • Identify appropriate interventions, approaches and tools that reduce therapeutic inertia
  • Identify ways to modify and individualize diabetes management plans to overcome therapeutic inertia and support improved glycemic control
