Nutritional Health in Special Populations Series
This series is designed to equip PAs across all specialties and settings with the knowledge and skills to effectively address nutrition-related issues with their patients. The series explores nutritional recommendations for patients with diabetes, special nutritional considerations for the elderly, and insights into nutritional management for patients in perioperative and postoperative settings. The interactive modules include animations, faculty videos, downloadable content, and more.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of these activities, participants should be able to:
- Develop a nutritional management plan for patients with diabetes
- Review the nutritional needs of older individuals and counsel them appropriately
- Manage nutritional needs of patients undergoing elective surgeries (e.g., bariatric surgery, joint-replacement surgery, etc.), including nutritional needs specific to wound healing
