There are subsets of patient populations, including those patients undergoing surgery, that present unique nutritional management challenges for which PAs must be prepared. In this highly interactive learning activity—featuring animations, faculty videos,
downloadable content, and more—expert faculty provide insights into nutritional management for patients in the perioperative and postoperative settings.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Manage nutritional needs of patients undergoing elective surgeries (e.g., bariatric surgery, joint-replacement surgery, etc.), including nutritional needs specific to wound healing
