In the age of antibiotic stewardship, "red ears" in children and ear pain in adults are often over diagnosed as otitis media and antibiotics are still prescribed by default. This presentation discusses many of the different (and sometimes more common) causes of these presentations and recommendations on what to do about them from an ENT perspective.
